Rotary za umjetnost koncert

Dear Rotarian friends,

As you are probably aware, the Rotary Club Sarajevo traditionally organizes a charity concert every year, with proceeds used to provide scholarships for outstanding students in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our goal is to encourage altruism and responsibility among successful young people.

After nearly two years of hard work, this year we have prepared a wonderful surprise for all friends and supporters of the Rotary Club Sarajevo and the wider Rotary community, and we invite you to join us.

This event will highlight the deep emotional connection between different yet similar musical traditions, sevdalinke and old town songs, presenting each song as a unique operatic aria performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra, with Marko Kalajanović as the soloist.

The concert will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the Bosnian Cultural Center (Branilaca Sarajeva 24) in Sarajevo, starting at 8:00 PM.
